The Arizona Cardinals played 70 offensive snaps on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Let’s see how the playing time was divided up and what it means.
Quarterback

Kyler Murray, 70
This continues to be good news. Murray has played every offensive snap except for three when he was pulled in the final moments of the loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Running back

Kenyan Drake, 45; David Johnson, 30
Both players actually started the game in the backfield together. They were on the field at the same time for at least five plays. However, after Johnson’s fumble, he was essentially benched. Drake was given 16 touches with 10 rushing attempts and six receptions.
Wide receiver

Christian Kirk, 65; Larry Fitzgerald, 55; KeeSean Johnson, 37; Andy Isabella, 26; Pharoh Cooper, 20; Trent Sherfield, 6
Isabella’s playing time, despite what Kliff Kingsbury said earlier in the week, did go up. Damiere Byrd was a healthy scratch for the second straight week. Isabella’s play has apparently pushed him out of the lineup.
Tight end

Charles Clay, 32; Maxx Williams, 31; Darrell Daniels, 1
This continues to be roughly how each tight ends is used. Clay was targeted once the entire game and had one catch for five yards. Williams was targeted twice and had one catch and one drop.
Offensive line

D.J. Humphries, 70; Mason Cole, 70; A.Q. Shipley, 70; J.R. Sweezy, 70; Justin Pugh, 70
The Cardinals had to move Pugh to right tackle again with Justin Murray out and put Mason Cole into the lineup but the who line played every snap. Pugh, Shipley and Sweezy have played every snap this season. Humphries has played all but three. This continues to be good for a line that has struggled with durability for three seasons.
