Brown is listed at 6-2 and 320 pounds on the Cardinals roster. At his pro day, he ran the 40 in 5.31 seconds. He bench pressed 225 pounds 24 times. His vertical leap was 23.5 inches and his three-cone time was a slow 8.19 seconds.
Background
He stood out in the Southern Conference all four seasons. He was a second-team all-conference player his freshman year and on the first team each of the last three. He was also a STATS and Phil Steele third-team All-American selection and was named to the Buck Buchanan Award Watch list last year.

In his career, he had 174 tackles, 38 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks from the defensive interior.

The defensive line room is open, especially at the back end. The starters will be Corey Peters, Darius Philon and presumably Rodney Gunter. They added Zach Allen in the third round of the draft. After that, he battles veteran Terrell McClain, seventh-round draft pick Michael Dogbe and others for a spot on the roster. His incredibly slow three-cone time is concerning. He might not be athletic enough to play in the NFL.
