Cardinals to have more open training camp practices than rest of NFC West

The Arizona Cardinals and coach Kliff Kingsbury have been very tight-lipped about what the new offense will look like. It led many to wonder if they would have many, if any, open practices in training camp.

After all, they reduced the number of open practices a year ago from more than 15 to nine.

However, those worries were unfounded and the Cardinals announced their training camp schedule with 14 open practices open to the public.

In fact, the Cardinals will have more open practices than any other NFC West team.

The Seattle Seahawks will have 12 open practices, although there is a registration system to attend.

The San Francisco 49ers will have 11 open practices.

The Los Angeles Rams will have the fewest, with seven.

In fact, according to Pro Football Talk’s tracker, only nine teams in the league will have more open practices than the Cardinals.

For a team shrouded in secrecy so far in the offseason, it is a surprising change as the season approaches.
