Cardinals tender Ricky Seals-Jones, Darrell Daniels, Jeremy Vujnovich but not Zach Moore

The Arizona Cardinals secured three of their exclusive rights free agents Friday. The team announced it extended qualifying tenders to offensive lineman Jeremy Vujnovich and tight ends Ricky Seals-Jones and Darrell Daniels.

Daniels and Vujnovich were both acquired last year via waivers. Vujnovich appeared in five games last season and started twice before getting injured and landing on injured reserve. He started 16 games in 2017 for the Indianapolis Colts.

Daniels appeared in two games in December after he joined the Cardinals.

Seals-Jones and Daniels must be excited for the new offensive scheme. Both are former receivers in college and could benefit greatly by Kliff Kingsbury’s offense.

More interesting than the qualifying tenders was the fact that they did not extend one (or at least have not yet done so) to defensive lineman Zach Moore, also an exclusive rights free agent. In limited playing time, he had 3.5 sacks last season and showed versatility, playing both inside and outside.

Perhaps they do not think he can play in a 3-4 scheme.

Also left untendered was offensive lineman Daniel Munyer.
