Cardinals spend ‘significant amount of time’ with WR Andy Isabella at pro day

The Arizona Cardinals continue to do prep work for the NFL draft and are doing their homework at the receiver position. Wide receiver coach David Raih was seen at the pro day for the University of Massachusetts scouting receiver prospect Andy Isabella.

According to Draftanalyst.com’s Tony Pauline, Raih “spent a significant amount of time with Isabella.”

Isabella has a connection with the Cardinals already. Spencer Whipple, the team’s offensive quality control coach, was Isabella’s position coach and passing game coordinator at UMass the last four seasons.

Isabella increased production each season he was in college, finishing his senior season with a ridiculous 102 catches for 1,698 yards and 13 touchdowns.

He played well at the Senior Bowl and put up very impressive numbers in athletic testing at the NFL combine.

He is 5-9, 188 pounds and athletic. He would be a great fit for the Cardinals. The question is where he ends up going in the draft and whether the Cardinals can land him.
