Cardinals sign former Broncos DL Zach Kerr

The Arizona Cardinals added some more veteran depth to the defensive line. A day after releasing undrafted rookie Mile Brown, they announced the signing of defensive lineman Zach Kerr.

Kerr played the last two seasons for the Denver Broncos, where Cardinals defensive coordinator Vance Joseph was head coach.

Kerr has played five seasons in the league. He spent the first three with the Indianapolis Colts. He has played in 63 career games, has 7.5 career sacks and 116 career tackles.

He played in all 16 games in 2018 for the Broncos. He had 33 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

He gives the Cardinals seven defensive linemen on the roster. Five are veterans. Two — Zach Allen, who has a shoulder injury, and Michael Dogbe — are rookies.
