The Arizona Cardinals have wrapped up the NFL draft with three seventh-round picks in the final seven. They started their final selections with offensive lineman Joshua Miles out of Morgan State.
Miles, the Cardinals’ only small-school selection, is 6-5, 314 pounds and played both tackle and guard. However, his time at guard was limited to practice when he redshirted and two games as a replacement for an injured player.
He is not speedy but he is explosive. He showed off a 36-inch vertical leap at his size.
He already knows one of the new Cardinals draft picks. He roomed with sixth-round pick Lamont Gaillard at the Shrine Game.
He represents one of only two offensive linemen selected by the Cardinals among their 11 draft picks.
