Cardinals seek second-ever road win over Bengals

The Arizona Cardinals have not played the Cincinnati Bengals many times in their history. When the two teams play on Sunday, it will only be the 12th game in the all-time series.

The Bengals lead the all-time series 6-5. The Cardinals hope to get their second-ever win in Cincinnati.

The home team has dominated the series. In fact, the home team has won 10 of the 11 games between the two teams. The Cardinals own the only road win, a 35-27 win over the Bengals in 2007.

The Cardinals are 1-6 in Cincinnati and 4-0 at home against the Bengals.

The two teams met for the first time in 1973 in Cincinnati. The Bengals won that matchup 42-24. They last played in 2015 in Arizona on a Sunday night. The Cardinals won that game 34-31 on a last-second field goal by Chandler Catanzaro.

The last time they played in Cincinnati, the Bengals won 23-16. Cardinals receiver Early Doucet dropped a pass in the end zone from John Skelton to thwart a comeback. They fell behind 23-0 and rallied back to 23-16 and could have tied the game.

Cincinnati is favored by 3.5 points in this game.
