The Arizona Cardinals can be connected to another wide receiver prospect. This one is from a small school, continuing a yearly tradition of looking far and wide for NFL talent.
The latest is receiver Keelan Doss from UC Davis.
According to the Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson, Cardinals assistant wide receiver coach Peter Badinovac was in attendance at Doss’ pro day.
Doss was dominant in college at his level, and he has the physical traits.
Hs is 6-2, 211. He caught 115 passes for 1,499 yards and seven touchdowns and followed that up in 2018 with 113 catches for 1,334 yards and nine scores.
He played at the Senior Bowl and stood out.
As a draft prospect, he could sneak into Day 2.
Arizona loves to draft small-school players. We will see if Doss ends up as one of their draft targets.
