Cardinals RB Chase Edmonds leaves game vs. Saints with hamstring injury

The Arizona Cardinals have injury issues at running back and it might have gotten worse for them. Chase Edmonds left the game in the third quarter of their game against the New Orleans Saints with an injury.

The team announced he had a hamstring injury and is questionable to return.

He limped off the field gingerly after the Cardinals converted on a third-down pass to Damiere Byrd.

It was a struggle for Edmonds before he left the game. He rushed seven times for eight yards and had two catches for five yards.

David Johnson, D.J. Foster and Alfred Morris began the day inactive. Johnson is hampered with an ankle injury. Foster was out with a hamstring injury and Morris was signed this week.

With Edmonds out, newly signed Zach Zenner is the only running back available to play.
