The Arizona Cardinals are one of the more improved teams of the offseason, but will it be enough to improve from five wins to the postseason? According to Touchdown Wire’s Barry Werner, no.
The Cardinals are among the 12 teams not projected to make the postseason.
Kyler Murray and the Cardinals will improve as they did last season. However, with the 49ers, Seahawks, and Rams in the NFC West, those are hurdles too high to conquer to make a playoff run.
The Cardinals do play in a very tough division. The Rams lost several key players but also reloaded their defense and coach Sean McVay is considered an offensive genius. It isn’t unreasonable to think they will bounce back in 2020. Meanwhile, the Seahawks still have Russell Wilson and the 49ers are coming off a Super Bowl appearance.
The Cardinals will have their work cut out for them if they wish to make the postseason.
