In a continued look at some free agents that the Arizona Cardinals could look into, we look at cornerback Ronald Darby. He plays a position of extreme need for the Cardinals.
Darby had a good one-year stay in Washington, enough so that they might bring him back. He had 17 pass breakups and played in every game last year.
The last part of that sentence may seem trivial, but for Darby, his injury history is unfortunately long, and that may be to the Cardinals benefit, keeping his price lower on the open market.
Arizona will need to likely take a flier on a cornerback (or a few) this off-season should Patrick Peterson leave via free agency. Darby has the upside of a number one corner and if can stay on the field, he could be an impactful free agent signing for Arizona.
