The Arizona Cardinals have added to their defense with their third-round pick. With the 65th overall pick in the draft and first in the third round, the Cardinals selected Boston College defensive end Zach Allen.
Allen had 61 tackles, 15 for loss, and 6.5 sacks in 2018. He had 100 tackles in 2017, 15.5 for loss, and 4.0 sacks.
He is 6-4, 281 pounds and appears to be versatile. He projects as a 5-technique on the defensive line for Arizona in Vance Joseph’s scheme.
