Having an NFL team means making a lot of money and being worth a lot of money. Every single franchise is worth more than $2 billion.
Forbes put together its yearly list of the 50 most valuable sports franchises in the world, and all 32 NFL teams appear. The Arizona Cardinals are No. 46 on the list overall.
Valued at $2.15 billion, they did not increase in value in the last year. They are ahead of the St. Louis Cardinals in major league baseball and three other NFL teams — the Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars and New Orleans Saints.
Considering the Bidwill family purchased the team for $50,000 in 1933, the return on investment has been exponential.
