Cardinals OL Jordan Mills to IR; TE Darrell Daniels promoted

The Arizona Cardinals have sent another right tackle to injured reserve. This time it is Jordan Mills. He suffered a knee injury last week and was ruled out of the team’s Week 5 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and Friday but did not practice Thursday.

The team placed him on injured reserve Saturday. He is eligible to return from IR in eight weeks if the Cardinals elect to designate him for return.

Mills was signed after Week 1 and started in Weeks 3 and 4, splitting time with Justin Murray.

The move means the start job is Murray’s alone now.

Mills previously has been very durable. He started every single game from 2016-2018 for the Buffalo Bills.

To replace Mills on the roster, the Cardinals promoted tight end Darrell Daniels to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. It is the third time this season he has been promoted to the active roster.

With special teamer Zeke Turner possibly set to miss the game on Sunday, Daniels is likely there just in case. He has not played on offense yet this season.
