Cardinals not among 3 frontrunners to acquire WR Antonio Brown

One of the biggest stars available in the NFL offseason is Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown, who has requested a trade from the team who drafted him.

The Arizona Cardinals have been named as a good team to acquire him because of the presence of Larry Fitzgerald, the need the team has at receiver and the potential for a lot of catches in the new offense under head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

However, three teams have emerged as the frontrunners to trade from Brown, and the Cardinals are not among them.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the three teams are the Oakland Raiders, Washington Redskins and Tennessee Titans.

So far, there have been no reports of the Cardinals even having made a call to inquire about Brown. If they have not done so yet, it isn’t likely going to happen.

So if there are Cardinals fans hoping the team makes a move to bring the very productive, yet temperamental receiver, it appears that will only be empty hope.
