The Arizona Cardinals had the very first pick of the NFL draft on Thursday, selecting quarterback Kyler Murray. On Saturday, they had the final pick. It was used on UCLA tight end Caleb Wilson, who is this year’s Mr. Irrelevant.
Wilson was the final of 11 Cardinals draft picks and the only tight end selected.
He is 6-4, 240 pounds and has decent speed. He ran the 40 in 4.56 seconds at the combine. He led the nation in receiving yards at his position, catching 60 passes for 965 yards and four touchdowns.
