Cardinals lose rookie DE Zach Allen to shoulder injury

The Arizona Cardinals decided to keep six defensive linemen active for the first time this season. It might end up being a critical decision. Rookie defensive lineman Zach Allen left the game in the first half with a shoulder injury.

After halftime, it was announced he would not return.

Allen was not in the starting lineup for the first time this season.

Allen, drafted in the third round, was forced into the starting lineup when the season began after the team released Darius Philon following his arrest for assault.
