The Arizona Cardinals face the Detroit Lions in Week 1 and there will be some familiar faces. Between the two teams, there are four players who used to play for the other team.
QB Chad Kanoff

Kanoff was among the Cardinals’ final cuts last weekend and spent 2018 on Arizona’s practice squad. He signed with the Lions this week, joining their practice squad.
TE Logan Thomas

Cardinals fans will remember Thomas as a quarterback. He was drafted as a quarterback in the 2014 NFL draft and he appeared in two games for them as a rookie. He also threw a touchdown pass. However, he has since moved back to tight end, the position he played when he first started playing collegiately. He signed with Detroit this offseason after two seasons with the Buffalo Bills.
S Charles Washington

Washington was cut by the Lions last week and claimed by the Cardinals. He spent the last three seasons with the Lions, appearing in 29 games, mostly playing special teams.
OL Oday Aboushi

Aboushi is in his first season with the Lions after signing with them in the offseason. He was a midseason signing by the Cardinals in 2018 and appeared in eight games, starting six.
