With another week gone by, it is time to see what scenarios could play out in the 2020 NFL Draft. I already outlined the prospects I like most for the Arizona Cardinals, so that was what I used in the latest full mock draft simulation I ran.
Here is who the Cardinals land with their six selections.
Round 1: Oklahoma WR CeeDee Lamb

Isaiah Simmons and Tristan Wirfs were already off the board. Lamb was the easy pick. The Cardinals land a top receiver who already has a relationship with Kyler Murray.
Round 2: TCU DL Ross Blacklock

Blacklock had 3.5 sacks and 9.0 tackles for loss last year. Instead of taking a running back like J.K. Dobbins, they land a player who could go in the first round. The Cardinals need help on the defensive line and Blacklock could help right away.
Round 3: Auburn OT Prince Tega Wanogho

The Cardinals address the offensive line in the third round with a bit of a project. He has the physical traits and needs to work on technique. With Sean Kugler, he should be able to develop.
Round 4: Memphis RB Antonio Gibson

Gibson has speed, having run the 40 in 4.39 seconds at the combine. He has the size of David Johnson and was a receiver. So if they are looking for a player to replace Johnson, why not someone with the same traits?
Round 6: LSU LB Jacob Phillips

The Cardinals need help at linebacker and Phillips will remind many of Kevin Minter. He isn’t overly athletic but he is disciplined. Is he a starter material? Probably not right away, but he probably can be a two-down linebacker.
Round 7: Arkansas S Kamren Curl

He can cover some and some versatility. In the seventh round, you hope to get special teams help at the least.
