Cardinals injury report: David Johnson misses 2nd straight practice

The Arizona Cardinals released their second injury report fo the week on Thursday, preparing for their Week 6 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. There were some improvements but the player everyone is paying attention to — running back David Johnson — remained sidelined.

Johnson missed his second straight practice with a back injury, further putting in doubt the possibility he will play against the Falcons.

He could be a gametime decision, but coach Kliff Kingsbury has said he will have to be at full speed to play.

Six players sat out on Thursday.

Did not practice

  • LB Dennis Gardeck (ankle)
  • LB Jordan Hicks (day off)
  • RB David Johnson (back)
  • LB Terrell Suggs (back)
  • LB Zeke Turner (hamstring)
  • S Charles Washington (shoulder)

Seven players were limited on Thursday. One player, linebacker Haason Reddick (shoulder), was upgraded to limited after missing on Wednesday. Recently acquired cornerback Trevor Williams (hip) was a new addition, while defensive lineman Zach Allen (neck) was downgraded from full on Wednesday to limited on Thursday.
