Cardinals injury report: David Johnson, Maxx Wiliiams return to practice

The Arizona Cardinals released their second injury report of the week on Thursday. Things looked better than it did on Wednesday as they prepare for their Week 7 road matchup with the New York Giants.

Running back David Johnson was back at practice after sitting out Wednesday with an ankle injury. He was limited on Thursday, suggesting he could be on track to play on Sunday. Tight end Maxx Williams also returned to practice as well.

Three players sat out for Arizona on Thursday. They had nine sit out on Wednesday.

  • S Charles Washington (shoulder)

Johnson, Kerr and Williams were upgraded on Thursday. Foster was a new addition to the injury report.

Receiver Larry Fitzgerald and defensive lineman Corey Peters, both of whom had the day off on Wednesday, returned fully on Thursday.
