Cardinals injury report: Chase Edmonds, Tramaine Brock, Justin Murray sit out 2nd straight day

The Arizona Cardinals practiced on Thursday and released their second injury report of the week. It looked better than Wednesday’s.

Only four players sat out of practice, Everyone else practiced fully.

Did not practice

  • DL Zach Allen (neck)
  • RB Chase Edmonds (hamstring)
  • CB Tramaine Brock (hamstring)
  • OL Justin Murray (knee)

Brock’s injury is the one to cause the most concern. It will force Kevin Peterson into action and likely slide Byron Murphy into the slot.

Allen, Murray and Edmonds are not expected to play. But with Murray missing practice for the second day in a row, it looks like we can expect to see Justin Pugh at right tackle again like last week and Mason Cole at guard.

Linebacker Terrell Suggs sat out Wednesday with a hamstring issue but was a full participant on Thursday. Veterans Chandler Jones, Larry Fitzgerald and Corey Peters, who all either got the day off or part of the day off Wednesday, were back on Thursday as full participants. Brooks Reed was also a full participant Thursday after being limited on Wednesday because of a hamstring.
