Cardinals inactives: Terrell Suggs, Justin Pugh to play

The Arizona Cardinals released their inactive list for their Week 5 tilt against the Cincinnati Bengals. As expected, they will be without receiver Christian Kirk and receiver Damiere Byrd. However, starting left guard Justin Pugh and starting outside linebacker Terrell Suggs, both of whom were questionable for the game, are active.

Also active is punter Andy Lee, although punter Ryan Winslow is also active as well.

Here are the inactives:

  • WR Christian Kirk
  • WR Damiere Byrd
  • S Charles Washington
  • LB Dennis Gardeck
  • LB Zeke Turner
  • OL Brett Toth
  • DL Zach Allen

With Jordan Mills on injured reserve, it means rookie Joshua Miles will be the backup tackle. The Cardinals will dress eight offensive linemen for the first time this season, as Mason Cole and Lamont Gaillard are also active.

Rookie defensive lineman Michael Dogbe is also active for the first time this season. Newly signed defensive lineman Zach Kerr is also active.

The Cardinals also have two punters active. Andy Lee was questionable for the game. Perhaps the plan is to have Lee hold for kicks, as Zone Gonzalez missed two field goals last week, his first misses of the season, with Ryan Winslow holding, while Winslow handles punting duties.
