The Arizona Cardinals had what many believed to be a great draft. However, that doesn’t give Vegas oddsmakers any more confidence in them in terms of success for the 2019 season.
The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook released odds (via ESPN) for winning the Super Bowl, making the Super Bowl, making the playoffs and winning the division.
The Cardinals have the longest Super Bowl odds in the league at 200-1, tied with the Miami Dolphins.
Their odds of winning the NFC are 50-1, tied for the longest in the conference with several teams.
They have the longest odds to win the NFC West at 30-1. And to make the playoffs? 10-1 (+1,000). But if you want to bet on them missing the playoffs, it is -2,000 (1/20) odds.
While these are completely reasonable odds in terms of betting, there is excitement about the Cardinals. With a retooled defense and an offense that should be exciting, maybe they shouldn’t be such long odds.
