Cardinals had visit planned for Oklahoma LB Kenneth Murray

NFL teams continue to prepare for the NFL draft and the Arizona Cardinals are one of those teams. As they continue to evaluate prospects, one they have scheduled to visit with is Oklahoma linebacker Kenneth Murray.

Murray did not participate in his pro day at Oklahoma, as he is recovering from a hamstring injury he suffered when running the 40-yard dash at the NFL combine. He ran it in 4.52 seconds.

At the combine, in addition to his 40 time, he did 21 reps of the bench press, had a broad jump of 10-9 and a vertical leap of 38 inches.

The 6-2, 241-pounder is very athletic for his position. In 2019, he had 102 tackles, four sacks, 17 tackles for loss and four pass breakups.

He isn’t likely in play for the Cardinals’ first-round pick, which is No. 8 overall. He is expected to be a first-round pick, though. He would be a steal for the Cardinals in the second round with the 40th pick overall.

Linebacker is one of the Cardinals’ biggest offseason needs.
