Cardinals give WR Kevin White 1-year, $1.5M contract

The contract numbers are in for new Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Kevin White. He will earn a little bit more than the league minimum.

According to Over the Cap, the deal is one year and worth $1.5 million.

He got $400,000 to sign. He will earn a salary of $1 million. He will get $50,000 if he is on the roster in Week 1. He will also earn up to $50,000 in per-game roster bonuses.

This is very similar to what the Cardinals gave Brice Butler last offseason, although his contract was for two seasons and he got $500,000 to sign. However, Butler did not make the team.

White has been a major disappointment in the NFL in his four NFL seasons. He has only appeared in 14 career games and has 25 career receptions.

He projects to be the Cardinals’ No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in 2019 as of right now.
