Cardinals final injury report: WR Damiere Byrd out; P Andy Lee questionable

The Arizona Cardinals wrapped up the week of practice preparing for the Seattle Seahawks in Week 4. They will have to play on Sunday without one of their most-used receivers.

Receiver Damiere Byrd was ruled out of Sunday’s game after missing a third straight practice with a hamstring injury. That presumably means that Trent Sherfield should get significant playing time and rookie Andy Isabella should play more, too. With Byrd out and Michael Crabtree released earlier in the week, the Cardinals now only have five receivers on the roster.

Here is the full injury report:

Ruled out

  • WR Damiere Byrd (hamstring): He missed practice all week.
  • S Charles Washington (shoulder): He missed practice all week.

Questionable

  • DL Miles Brown (shoulder): He was limited all week.
  • OL Lamont Gaillard (knee): He did not practice Wednesday and was limited Thursday and Friday.
  • P Andy Lee (hip): He did not practice all week.

The team has not yet decided what to do with Lee. They have Ryan Winslow on the practice squad. If they aren’t convinced Lee will be close enough to 100 percent healthy, Winslow will be promoted to the active roster on Saturday.

Defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard (hamstring) and linebacker Zeke Turner (hand, hamstring) were full participants on Friday after being limited Wednesday and Thursday.

Linebacker Terrell Suggs was given the day off.
