The Arizona Cardinals, following a loss in Baltimore that gave fans some hope, went up in USA TODAY’s power rankings. After a disappointing loss on Sunday to the Carolina Panthers, they dropped again.
In this week’s power rankings, the Cardinals, who were ranked 26th, now sit at No. 28.
Already wearing down? Games getting increasingly ugly as deficits continue to rise and offense gets incrementally less productive.
They rank higher than the Jets, Bengals, Redskins and Dolphins. The Cardinals will play the Bengals in two weeks.
Where does the rest of the NFC West rank?
The Seattle Seahawks, whom the Cardinals host this week, is 17th. The undefeated San Francisco 49ers are 10th. The 3-0 Los Angeles Rams are sixth.
The Carolina Panthers, who defeated the Cardinals, remain at No. 25.
