Cardinals draft WR Keesean Johnson in sixth round

The Arizona Cardinals have selected a third wide receiver in the NFL draft. Using the first pick of the sixth round of the draft, they selected Fresno State wideout Keesean Johnson.

Johnson is 6-1, 201 pounds but is not overly athletic. He ran only a 4.6-second 40-yard dash and has a 30-inch vertical. However, he was incredibly productive.

He had steady increases in production each season he was in college, surpassing 1,000 receiving yards twice. He had 77 receptions for 1,013 yards and eight touchdowns in 2017 and followed that up last year with 95 catches for 1,340 yards and eight scores.

He joins Andy Isabella and Hakeem Butler as new receivers added by the team via the draft.

He has good hands, can win up high and is good running with the ball after the catch.
