Cardinals cut 2, sign 6 players to fill practice squad

The Arizona Cardinals have filled their 10-man practice squad. To fill it, they released two players they previously brought back and signed six other players.

For the second day in a row, they released two players from the unit who had been re-signed after final cuts. After letting go of quarterback Drew Anderson and receiver A.J. Richardson on Monday, they released cornerback Nate Brooks and linebacker Vontarrius Dora on Tuesday.

That made room for six players.

Two players they announced were previously reported — quarterback Kyler Sloter and receiver Johnnie Dixon.

Their other four new practice squad players are cornerback Jalen Davis, running back Justin Davis, linebacker Kylie Fitts and linebacker Pete Robertson.

Robertson was waived by the Cardinals after initially making the 53-man roster.

Their full practice squad now look like this:

  • LB Dante Booker
  • TE Darrell Daniels
  • CB Jalen Davis
  • RB Justin Davis
  • WR Johnnie Dixon
  • OLB Kylie Fitts
  • OL Sam Jones
  • OLB Pete Robertson
  • QB Kyle Sloter
  • TE Caleb Wilson
