Cardinals bring in OL Marquez Tucker for visit

The Arizona Cardinals continue to look at NFL draft prospects and have brought in several players for official visits. The latest name to emerge is offensive lineman Marquez Tucker, an offensive lineman who played at Southern Utah.

According to the Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson, the Cardinals had Tucker in for a visit.

Tucker played high school ball in Arizona, at Hamilton High School in Chandler.

He started each of the last two seasons for the Firebirds in Cedar City. He is a 6-4, 290-pound guard. He entered college weighing only 230 pounds and leaves around 300.

He put up a ridiculous 31 reps of 225 pounds in the bench press at his pro day. He also ran the 40 in 5.1 seconds and showed off a 30-inch vertical leap.

He anticipated he will be drafted, perhaps in the sixth or seventh round. The Cardinals have five picks in the final two rounds.
