Cardinals bring back DT Pasoni Tasini; activate Charles Clay, Brandon Williams from PUP

The Arizona Cardinals will have three new additions to practice on Sunday afternoon. They filled their vacant roster spot by re-signing defensive lineman Pasoni Tasini and activated two players off the physically unable to perform list.

They had a vacancy on the roster following the release of defensive end Darius Philon.

Tasini played one game last season for the Cardinals after spending most the season on the practice squad. He originally signed as an undrafted rookie in 2017 out of Utah and spent the whole season on the practice squad.

He will wear No. 96, which Vincent Valentine previously wore. Valentine was waived/injured on Wednesday.

The Cardinals also get two injured players back. They activated tight end Charles Clay and cornerback Brandon Williams off PUP. They should be available to practice this afternoon.

Williams is battling for a roster spot, while Clay is expected to start at tight end.
