Cardinals aren’t last in new power rankings after free agent moves

The Arizona Cardinals, coming off perhaps their worst season ever, have made a lot of changes on their roster through free agency. Several players have departed for other teams while others have joined Arizona.

They have added veteran offensive line help and a pair of productive linebackers on defense in Terrell Suggs and Jordan Hicks.

They have gotten better, but not too much better comparatively, at least according to new NFL power rankings by sister site Touchdown Wire’s Matthew Steven.

The Cardinals come in at No. 30 overall.

There are still questions as to whether Josh Rosen will be their quarterback in just a few months or not. The Cardinals were already one of the worst teams in 2018 and they’ve done very little to improve their standing.

With questions at quarterback and an offense that comes from college, it is hard to be too optimistic at this point about the Cardinals. However, with what they have added, they should be at least somewhat improved over their disaster season of 2018.
