The Arizona Cardinals will address their needy tight end room through free agency, according to general manager Steve Keim. One has been added to their roster through an international program the NFL has.
The team announced Tuesday it was allocated Austrian tight end Bernhard Seikovits, who is 23 years old.

Seikovits (6-5, 262) is a Vienna native who is currently a captain for the men’s national team. He previously won two European Championships as a quarterback for the U19 national team. Seikovits played youth football for the Vienna Vikings until he was selected for the Austrian U19 national team as the age of 16.
The International Player Pathway Program was instituted in 2017 and provides international athletes with the opportunity to compete at the NFL level, improve their skills and ultimately earn a spot on an NFL roster.
The teams from the NFC West, AFC East and NFC East will carry these players on their roster until the end of training camp. At that time, the players are eligible for an international player practice squad exemption, granting each team an extra practice squad member.
Seikovits will be a player to watch during training camp. Will he show enough to simply stay on the practice squad?
