Cardinals 2nd-round pick Rondale Moore believes he is a big-time playmaker

The Arizona Cardinals are high on their second-round selection, wide receiver Rondale Moore. They expect him to short up their return game and be a weapon on offense.

There is no lacking in confidence in Moore, who believes he doesn’t have an equal when it comes to playmaking.

At his pro day at Purdue back in March, he was asked what his special skill is and what it is that sets him apart from other receivers.

He summed it up in one word, “playmaking.”

“When you talk about money downs, third and short or anything like that, with a backer one-on-one, I think I’m the best player in America,” he said. “When we need a play, there’s no doubt in my mind that I can get it done. I think as a playmaker, I am the best in the country.”

The NFL is definitely a level up. He won’t likely walk into the league as the best playmaker in the entire league.

However, that is what the Cardinals drafted him for. He will return punts and kicks. He will be used on run plays and give them a speedy option in the slot and for downfield throws.

If all he turns out to be is one of the better playmakers in the league, he will have been a home run of a pick in the second round.
