Cardinals 2019 stats countdown: 3 days until season opener

Can you believe the Arizona Cardinals open the regular season in only three days? In three days, there will be real Cardinals football to watch.

What stats are there in team history for the No. 3?

The Cardinals have gone three years since they last make the postseason.

Three coaches have taken them to the postseason since the team has been in Arizona — Vince Tobin, Ken Whisenhunt and Bruce Arians.

The Cardinals won only three games in 2018.

Defensive lineman Eric Swann had three career safeties.

Only three quarterbacks in team history with at least 10 starts have a winning record — Carson Palmer, Charley Johnson and Drew Stanton.

Only three quarterbacks have thrown 100 interceptions or more — Jake Plummer, Charley Johnson and Jim Hart.

Darnell Dockett had three sacks in the Super Bowl when the Cardinals made it to that game.

The Cardinals have had 19 regular season games in which a player has had three sacks.

David Johnson has had three games of three rushing touchdowns.

There have been 16 three-receiving touchdown games by a player since 1950. Larry Fitzgerald has done it only once.

A player has intercepted three passes in a game only seven times. Antrel Rolle was the last to do it in 2007. Larry Wilson did it twice.

We will come back tomorrow for stats for the No. 2.
