Cardinals 2019 stats countdown: 19 days until season opener

There are now 19 days remaining until the Arizona Cardinals kick off their season in Week 1 against the Detroit Lions. As we continue to countdown until the start of the season, we focus on stats for each day.

Today, we look at stats in team history for the No. 19.

Chris Chandler, who played from 1991-1993, and Johns Roach, who played from 1956-1960, each threw 19 touchdown passes.

Chandler, along with Gary Hogeboom, Jack Robbins and Joe Lillard, threw 19 interceptions while with the Cardinals.

Jim Otis had 19 rushing touchdowns between 1973-1978.

Nine players have had 19 career receptions. Trent Sherfield does now and Ron Wolfley caught 19 passes in his Cardinals career.

Larry Centers had 19 touchdown catches.

John Gilliam and Doug Marsh each had 19 career touchdowns.

Marshall Goldberg and Jimmy Hill each had 19 career interceptions on defense.

Markus Golden had 19 sacks with the Cardinals.

Jim Hart twice threw 19 touchdown passes in a season.

Four players threw 19 interceptions in a season.

In 2003, Jeff Blake was sacked 19 times. Kent Graham was in 1996.

11 players have had 19 catches in a season. Trent Sherfield did last year. William Powell did in 2012 and Obafemi Ayanbadejo did in 2004.

Chris Jacke made 19 field goals in 1999.
