Cardinals 2019 stats countdown: 12 days until season opener

The Arizona Cardinals are now only 12 days away from their season opener against the Detroit Lions. As we have been doing for a while, let’s look at what stats in team history there are for the No. 12.

Steve Beuerlein, Josh McCown, Chris Chandler, Dave Krieg and Charley Trippi all lost 12 games as starter quarterbacks.

Kent Graham threw 12 interceptions with the Cardinals.

Graham threw 12 touchdown passes in 1996 and Lamar McHan did in 1958.

Matt Leinart threw 12 interceptions as a rookie in 2006.

Neil Lomax and Charley Johnson led 12 career game-winning drives for the Cardinals.

Larry Fitzgerald had 12 touchdown receptions in 2008. Roy Green did in 1984, Sonny Randle in 1963 and Bob Shaw in 1950.

Ernie Nevers had 12 rushing touchdowns in 1929.

David Galloway had 12 sacks in 1983.

Bob Nussbaumer holds the team record for 12 interceptions in a season in 1949.
