Cardinals 2019 countdown: 89 days until season opener

The Arizona Cardinals have 89 days remaining until they play their first game of the year, hosting the Detroit Lions in Week 1. It will be the regular season debut for quarterback Kyler Murray and coach Kliff Kingsbury.

With 89 days remaining, what are some statistics in Cardinals history for the No. 89?

Twice there have been receivers to have exactly 89 receptions in a season. First it was Frank Sanders, who caught 89 passes in 1998, when the Cardinals made the playoffs for the first time while in Arizona. Sanders had 1,145 yards and three touchdowns.

The other player to do it was Anquan Boldin, who did it in 2008, when the Cardinals made it to the Super Bowl. He had 1,038 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.

It would that good things happen for the team when a player has exactly 89 receptions for a season.
