Cardiff v Luton prediction - back Robert Glatzel to get off to a flier

After last weekend's opening day disappointment at Wigan, Cardiff kick off in front of the South Wales faithful on Saturday.

And if you're having a punt, have a quick read of our   Pools punting preview.

We've asked our squad of first team writers, the men and women who know their teams best, to give us an insight into what we should be looking out for this weekend.

Glen Williams,  who will be watching Cardiff home and away, gives his rundown.

Win, lose or draw?

Cardiff 2-0 Luton. The Bluebirds showed they could create on the road last week against Wigan but expect their defence to be more assured in front of a home crowd. A 2-0 home win is a very tempting 8/1 with the pools.com

Who’s a good bet for first scorer?

Robert Glatzel. Following his £5.5m move from Hedenheim he will be champing at the bit to make his mark as soon as possible. He was deemed unavailable for the loss to Wigan so expect him to start with a bang. He's 4/1 first scorer with thepools.com and 11/8 anytime.

Who’s on the naughty step?

Joe Ralls was lucky to stay on the pitch last week after a rash challenge on Lee Evans, he will look to enforce at the base of midfield and could pick up a card.

Who’s on pens?

Joe Ralls (although the last four pens have been taken by four different people so it's anyone's guess!

Will Cardiff keep a clean sheet?

Yes, so that's a 'No' to Both Teams To Score which is a solid 19/20 with thepools.com
