Anyone in Roath yesterday couldn't have failed to notice the cordoned off streets around Roath Park – 30 officers, armed police and helicopters were called to the scene after a stabbing was reported on Ninian Road. Read the BBCWales report here.

Following the hot weather this weekend, one resident reported on Cardiff Fix My Street Roath Rec was covered in cans, bottles, disposable BBQs... I'll be speaking to the council to see if the sunny weather caught their cleaning units by surprise. Also reported in Roath were smashed records on Inverness Place and calls for a CCTV camera to be placed on the road. More potholes have been reported in Llanishen as well as overhanging trees in Butetown.
