Good morning Cardiff!
Today, Voluntary Action Cardiff will hold their final 'Sink or Swim' session. Over the past few weeks Cardiff's Voluntary Council has been putting on road show events across the city to collect the views of the charity, community and voluntary sectors in light of the spending review and changes to how the city's public sector deliver their services. Today, the road shows culminate in a finale at the Coal Exchange in Cardiff Bay titled 'All Together Better'. Jacqui Bell chief executive of VAC said:
"This is a crucial time for the voluntary and community sector in Cardiff, and we need to demonstrate the unique contribution and added value that our sector brings to the city. In order to do so we're inviting a diverse range of groups, organisations and charities along with statutory partners to be fully involved so that we can be 'all together better' in the future."
