Cardiff today – UWIC protest, Christmas brews, and burlesque club

Today, students and lecturers of University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC) will lead a demonstration against the cuts being made by management to the sculpture department of Cardiff School of Art at UWIC Llandaff campus today at 4pm.

Rick Newnhan of the University and College Union said:

"The UCU support the students in trying to overturn the disastrous decisions being taken in regards to the Cardiff School of Art and Design."

Gwyrddio Penarth Greening (GPG) has nominated butchers, David Lush, Thompsons, and Sadlers Fish & Game shop for their monthly green award, reports the Penarth Times.
