In the news, a new 32-storey hotel development in Cardiff Bay will be the tallest building in Wales reports WalesOnline. This comes before Cardiff's Local Development Plan is debated at full council today. BBC Wales's Week In Week Out featured the LDP last night and we'll bring you reactions from those watching the programme later today. Members of the Green Party have also voiced their concern for greenfield sites on their blog.
Capture Cardiff looks at the Free Cakes for Kids branch in the city – the community project will invite anyone who can wield a wooden spoon to baking days.
