What's making Cardiff tick today?

First minister Carwyn Jones announced investment into some of Wales' most historic buildings including a church in Roath. Almost £600,000 of grants is to be shared among 12 of Wales' most important buildings, administered through Cadw to carry out essential repairs and restoration work. St Peter's Roman Catholic Church, in Roath, was awarded a grant of £40,000 towards works to repair and replace parts of the roof.

Political parties in Wales launched the 'yes' campaign yesterday ahead of the referendum in Wales on 3 March. Betsan Powys writes about it on her blog here.
