Good morning Cardiff! I hope people are enjoying the sunny spell we're getting as well as the lighter afternoons. With the spring weather in full cry, more people are being encouraged to cycle around the city; see what I thought of the city's OYBike scheme on the blog later today.
Plaid Cymru will launch their Westminster election campaign this morning, but politics isn't the only thing that's all the rage, because the St David's Shopping Centre's glitzy fashion shows also start today. There will be a catwalk in the Hayes every day until Sunday, where collections from the stores in the mall will be showcased.
At 2pm today at County Hall, the executive business committee will meet, with the performance of Cardiff schools in 2009 among the items on the agenda.
Tonight, meanwhile, Cardiff City Supporters' Trust will hold a Question Time-style debate in Canton with Andy Legg and Jason Perry speaking to BBC Wales' Rob Phillips.
In the news, election leaflets are already causing problems. Material advising Muslim voters not to visit polling stations on election day has been condemned by Muslim leaders, reports WalesOnline.
