Cardiff today – Call for Butetown play volunteers and Big Little City artists

More expectations for the new year from bloggers curated by BBC Wales Music – this time Huw Stephens, Kaptin, Buzz Magazine and blogger Carl Morris let us know what they're looking forward to in 2011, including following the Cardiff blog Babylon Wales.

National Theatre Wales is looking for volunteers to perform in its January show, The Soul Exchange – a taxi trip around Butetown – on the 27 and 28 January 2011. Find out more on the NTW community site here.

More disruptive roadworks start up on Womanby Street as part of the Castle Quarter city centre facelift, reports WalesOnline.

Dan Green has posted up a call for submissions for the Big Little City project which is due to open the Cardiff Story museum this spring. His Big Little City project is featured on BBC Wales here.

The clock face on Cardiff Castle seems to be broken, but Cardiff council have vowed to fix it asap, reports WalesOnline.
