The first TeachMeet Cardiff was a success – this blogpost reports – the event brought together 60 teachers from Cardiff and other parts of south Wales in Whitchurch High School to share ideas and best practice, discuss learning issues and network with educators.

Missed the last Cathays and Plasnewydd partnerships and communities together (pact) meeting? Cardiff Digs reports:

"At Cathays, parking issues associated with Wyverne Road and in residents bays was reported, letting signs causing a nuisance were identified and other issues included street cleaning, the poor state of the paving stones and takeaways on Salisbury Road operating beyond their legal opening hours.

"At Plasnewydd priorities identified included speeding, Mackintosh Place, Fly tipping and Oxford Lane; cars travelling the wrong way down the one way system."
