Classically-trained pianist Catherine Wright graduates from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama this summer. Already having a plethora of awards and high-profile performances under her belt, she is at the beginning of what will be a magnificent career.
Choral Prom - Sunday 18 July, 7.00pm, £5 - £26
Features stunning soloists and three local choirs: BBC National Chorus of Wales, Cardiff Ardwyn Singers and Cardiff Polyphonic Choir.
Verdi's Requiem is one of the greatest choral masterpieces of all time. Charged with electric passion, terrifying force, tenderness and tranquillity, it comes straight from Verdi's soul. The Welsh Proms Cardiff celebrate their twenty-fifth season with a performance given by a stellar line-up of soloists under the direction of Owain Arwel Hughes.

Clegg Power Duo - Monday 19 July, 1.30pm, FREE
Evan Clegg and Stuart Power are recent graduates from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama's jazz course. They began performing together through a mutual interest in the music of Lennie Tristano and his contemporaries. Their repertoire is largely based around the 'Great American Songbook' along with alternative melodies by the greats of the bebop era.
Ginge & CelloBoi - Monday 19 July, 5.00pm, £3.50
Join us for a late Afternoon Prom featuring two of the newest talents on the Cardiff scene. Ginge and CelloBoi's unique blend of bluegrass, country, gospel and jazz has been exciting crowds for over a year now. Experience their pumping, hard-impact, body moving style for yourself in the L3 Lounge.

Klezmer Kollectiv - Thursday 22 July, 1.30pm, FREE
The Klezmer Kollectiv began in 2008 when a trio of classically trained Cardiff music students decided to take to the streets and busk an upbeat mix of Klezmer and Balkan music. The trio has since grown to an eight-piece and the Kollectiv have exploded onto the Cardiff music scene leaving tapping feet and smiling faces in their wake.
The Mavron String Quartet - Thursday 22 July, 5.00pm, £5
The Mavron String Quartet are Wales' leading quartet and St David's Hall's ensemble in residence. They will be performing in a late Afternoon Prom featuring a wide-ranging repertoire from the classics to light and popular favourites through to new and adventurous music.
Lunar Saxophone Quartet - Friday 23 July, 5.00pm, £7.00 (advance) £8.00 (on day)
Following a sell-out concert at last year's Welsh Proms, the Lunar Saxophone Quartet return with an exciting programme at this late Afternoon Prom. Originally formed at Cardiff's Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, the Lunar Saxophone Quartet have gone on to become on of Britain's most dynamic and adventurous young groups.
